This division is a permanent venue for holding training on Surveys and Settlement under the aegis of Directorate of Land Records and Surveys, Govt. of West Bengal. This institute provides training on survey and land reforms to personnel from government departments and other states. The institute holds seminars and conferences on land reforms regularly. Also, this institute has a massive central library which has a huge collection of books and documents on land matters.
Inaugurated on 29th April, 2010, this is a training centre in Berhampore town of Murshidabad district, under the cap of the Land Department. This is a hostel designed to accommodate 64 trainees, trainers, guest house and academy building.
